Addis Ababa: Anda Vehicle Manufacturing Company and Aniy Furniture PLC, a Chinese electric vehicles and modern office furniture manufacturer will invest more than 2.6 billion Birr at Bole Lemi Industrial Park. ???Industrial Parks Development Corporation of Ethiopia (IPDC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with thses giant companies to invest on two hectares of leased land at the industrial park, it was indicated. The agreement was signed today by the CEO of IPDC, Fisseha Yitagesu, and the Chief Executive Officer of Anda Vehicle Manufacturing Company and Aniy Furniture PLC, Wu Hangshu. As soon as Anda Vehicle Manufacturing Company and Aniy Furniture PLC will become operational, the two companies are anticipated to supply its products to the local and foreign markets. According to IPDC, Chinese companies have a lion's share in various sectors in 13 of Ethiopia's industrial parks particularly, in the Dire-Dawa Free Trade Zone. Source: Ethiopian News Agency
