This year's construction progress of housing scheme for the elderly and economically vulnerable communities around Aware area in Addis Ababa exemplifies a shift in work culture, merging quality with speed, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed stated in social media post today. The premier pointed out that the transformation of the Aware area in the capital through housing scheme for the elderly and economically vulnerable has been underway for the past six years. Beyond mere housing, the green areas under development aim to foster community and dignified living, he added. Social welfare is a key pillar of Prime Ministerial initiatives, with a focus on the annual renovation and construction of homes for the elderly and economically vulnerable, Office of the Prime Minister noted. This year's program was launched in May by Prime Minister Abiy, and since then, the construction process for affordable housing for the indigent has continued to accelerate.
