Ethio-Djibouti Public Diplomacy Team Plants Seedling In Dire Dawa

Ethio-Djibouti public diplomacy delegation which arrived in Dire Dawa yesterday planted seedlings today.

“As neighborhood we treasure our friendships we have built over years, and look forward to deepen in the years ahead,” Ambassador of Ethiopia to Djibouti, Berhanu Tsegaye said.

The effort of public diplomacy to promote brotherhood and green initiative is commendable.

The Ethio-Djibouti public diplomacy trip to Ethiopia aims to strengthen people to people relations, cultural exchange and promote regional integration.

The Green Legacy Initiative, launched by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, aims to combat deforestation and promote reforestation by planting billions of trees across the country.

By participating in this initiative and writing stories about your journey on the Ethio-Djibouti Train , you are contributing to these noble causes, Ambassador Berhanu said.

“I hope your journey is fruitful and helps foster stronger ties between Ethiopia and Djibouti,” he added.
