Addis Ababa: Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Ambassador Taye Atske-Selassie, met with UK Minister for Multilateral, Human Rights and Africa, Lord Collins of Highbury on the margins of the 79th UNGA in New York. On the occasion, Foreign Minister Taye briefed Lord Collins on current developments in the Horn of Africa and affirmed Ethiopia's commitment to peace, development and regional integration. Lord Collins on his part highlighted the importance of focusing on economic development as a vehicle to promoting regional Integration. They both underscored that long term sustainable peace in the region guarantees flourishing of trade and attract investment inflows to the region, according to Foreign Ministry.
