Addis Ababa: The Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics (ESL) Enterprise has secured over 57 billion Birr in revenue during the concluded Ethiopian Fiscal Year. Briefing the media today, ESL CEO Beriso Amelo revealed that the country earned 57.14 billion Birr revenue, exceeding the target 51.06 billion Birr. According to him, the enterprise secured 8.86 billion Birr profit before tax, surpassing the target by 132 percent. Regarding foreign exchange earnings, ESL has secured 420.67 million USD. The CEO stated that the enterprise has transported 3,749,141 tons during the stated period. CEO Beriso said the overall success registered is due to the reform activities undertaken, including the enhancement of efficiency and expansion of destinations.
