Addis Ababa: The Consulate of Ethiopia in Dubai and Northern Emirates stated that it is actively facilitating UAE investors in their efforts to invest in Ethiopia’s industrial parks and the Diredawa Free Trade Zone.
Consul General ambassador Aklilu Kebede held a discussion with a delegation led by senior officials of the Industrial Parks Development Corporation.
A delegation led by IPDC’s Investment Promotion and Marketing Deputy CEO Zemen Junedin, Corporate Resource Management Deputy CEO Alemayehu Seifu and Investment Sector Advisor Mahlet Shibabaw held discussions with the ambassador regarding the possible conditions for investors from the United Arab Emirates to invest in Ethiopia’s industrial parks and Dire Dawa Free Trade Zone.
IPDC deputy CEO Zemen Junedin, presented and gave broad explanation on investment, business, logistics, fiscal and non-fiscal incentives as well as the investor-oriented reforms and zero waiting time that the corporation has implemented.

inted out that IPDC’s positive effort setting up a desk in every continent to attract investors and providing uninterrupted and efficient service to investors has a significant contribution to the growth of the investment flow and reminded that this should be strengthened.
The delegation during their stay, held discussions with the owner and management members of the Armada Group, which has invested in various parts of the world, including Dubai, to enable it to engage in industrial parks, especially in the real estate sector.
