Ethiopia: Ethiopia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Gedion Timothewos held discussions with Russia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov on November 8, 2024. The two foreign ministers exchanged views on a wide range of bilateral, regional, and international issues of mutual interest. According to Ethiopian News Agency, both sides agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation and utilize the untapped potential of their economic relations. The meeting took place ahead of the First Ministerial Conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum scheduled from November 9 to 10, 2024, in Sochi, Russia.
