two-day India-Africa ICT Expo 2023 which brings together 30 ICT companies from India and more than 10 Ethiopian companies opened on Wednesday in Addis Ababa.
The government of India along with Telecom Equipment and Services Export Promotion Council (TEPC) and Indian Embassy in Addis Ababa organized the Expo with the participation of more than 100 exhibitors.
It is expected that the Expo will also attract over 1000 business visitors from Ethiopia and other African countries.
ICT development believed to be instrumental to realizing sustainable development goals and accelerate digital economy and transformation, it was indicated.
Furthermore, ICT is also vital to accelerating industrialization, ease of doing business, and among others.
India-Africa Expo will build and solidify partnership between India, Ethiopia and other African countries in ICT and related sectors, according to organizers of the Expo.
