Addis Ababa: Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC) announced that it has generated over 26 billion US dollars in export revenue during the first quarter of the current fiscal year. The revenue is secured in the industrial parks managed by the Corporation and Dire Dawa free trade zone, said Kamil Ibrahim, Deputy Chief Executive Officer at IPDC's Operations Division. According to Ethiopian News Agency, Jimma and Bole Lemi Industrial Parks achieved high performance in terms of products exported in the stated period. The Corporation is currently evaluating the performance of the first 3 months of the 2024/25 fiscal year, it was indicated.
