Addis Ababa: Millions of Ethiopians are taking part in a grand peace run organized by the Ministry of Peace and other pertinent stakeholders under the slogan ‘All for Peace, Peace for All.’

The objective of this nationwide event is to create awareness among Ethiopians on the importance of peace and encourage them to play their part in the efforts being underway by the government to realizing sustainable peace in the country.

Prominent Ethiopian athletes and diplomats of various countries based in Addis Ababa have participated at the event held in the capital on Sunday.

The national event, which aims to establish long-lasting peace, is in progress in several major towns across the country.
