Addis Ababa: Ethiopia's National Dialogue process demonstrates the commitment of the country to ensure peace in all aspect, President Taye Atske Silassie underscored. The joint session of the 6th year and 4th tenure of the House of Peoples' Representatives and the House of Federation opened today. During the occasion, Ambassador Taye Atsiksilase, who had been serving as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, was appointed as the President of Ethiopia. President Taye in his opening speech to the joint session of the two houses, mentioned about the efforts being carried out to ensuring all-round peace in the country. He said that the activities of the National Dialogue Commission demonstrate the strong commitment of the country to ensure peace in all fields highlighting the crucial contribution of the dialogue to the nation building process. According to the president, following the completion of its preparatory phase, the Commission has already started work by gathering agenda items in Addis Ababa and other reg ional states.
