Addis Ababa: Minister of Agriculture Girma Amente discussed with Ambassador of India to Ethiopia, Anil Kumar Rai to work in collaboration in agricultural investment, marketing of agricultural products, and technology transfer. During the occasion, the minister emphasized that Ethiopia and India have a longstanding history of collaboration across various fields. He also expressed appreciation to the Indian government's desire to work together with Ethiopia in the field of agriculture to strengthen the relationship between the two countries. The minister emphasized Ethiopia's interest in acquiring knowledge and new agricultural technologies from India to build upon the excellent results already achieved in the sector. Indian Ambassador Anil Kumar confirmed that the Indian government will support capacity building in agricultural investment, marketing of agricultural products and new technology.
