Addis ababa: Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed attended the launch of the pan-African media outlet Pulse of Africa this morning. According to Ethiopian News Agency, the establishment of the platform follows the Prime Minister's call in 2022 during the 35th Ordinary Session of the African Union (AU) Assembly for the creation of a continental media institution that reflects Africa's perspectives and narratives. Pulse of Africa aims to serve as a unifying platform that promotes African voices, fosters regional integration, and highlights the continent's achievements, challenges, and aspirations from an African viewpoint.
