President Ruto Joins PAG Centennial Celebration in Vihiga

Vihiga: President Dr. William Ruto joins thousands of worshippers at the Pentecostal Assemblies of God (PAG) Church headquarters in Nyang’ori, Vihiga County, to mark the church’s centenary celebrations.

According to Kenya News Agency, the event taking place at the Nyang’ori Boys High School grounds, brings together clergy, government officials, and faithful from across the country to celebrate 100 years of evangelism and community service by the PAG Church in Kenya.

Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, who hails from the region, also graced the occasion that attracted local leaders from across political divide. The centenary celebration marks a significant milestone for PAG, which grows from a small missionary outpost established in 1925 to one of Kenya’s largest Pentecostal denominations with branches across the country and beyond.

The event features prayers, worship, and reflections on the church’s history and future mission in spreading the gospel and fostering community development.
