Addis Ababa: Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has visited development site in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia today. The Prime Minister together with the ministerial delegation has been in Malaysia for an official working visit just after completing attendance at the BRICS Summit, it was learned. In his social media post in the early hours of this morning, Premier Abiy encouraged Malaysian businesses to seize the vast investment opportunities in Ethiopia's rapidly expanding economy. Prime Minister Abiy thanked his Malaysian counterpart Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and the government and people of Malaysia for their warm hospitality during his visit. 'We have agreed to deepen our collaboration across several key areas, including trade and investment, with particular focus on agriculture, mining, manufacturing, and renewable energy' The premier added, 'I encourage Malaysian businesses to seize vast investment opportunities in Ethiopia's rapidly expanding economy.'
