_: Expand North Star, the world’s largest event for global startups and investors, kicked off today in Dubai.

The North Star tech event, which will be held for the coming three days, brought together over 2,000 startups and more than 70,000 participants drawn from over 120 countries including Ethiopia.

Organized by Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, the event has also attracted the world’s most sought-after founders, investors, entrepreneurs, and corporate innovators to explore business deals, attract investments, expand their networks, and share valuable knowledge.

Lead Executive Officer for Startups Development at Ethiopia’s Ministry of Innovation and Technology, Selamyihun Adefris, who is attending the event in Dubai, told ENA that six startups that were selected from a competition held among 150, are participating in this extraordinary global event.

Expand North Star is believed to be the ultimate hub for driving business impact, accelerating the growth of the wor
ld’s most promising startups, and bringing together the entire startup ecosystem.

This annual event is also the go-to platform for startups, investors, accelerators, and tech enthusiasts looking to secure funding, explore investment opportunities, and stay ahead of industry trends.
