Addis Ababa: Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and First Lady Zinash Tayachew are attending the welcoming dinner of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation. Prime Minister Abiy and First Lady Zinash arrived in Beijing, China, on an official visit today. Following his arrival, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed discussed with President Xi Jinping of China. The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation, particularly in investment, green growth, digitalization, and new energy. They also noted that the frequency of their meetings reflects a deepening partnership based on mutual benefit and respect, according to the Office of the Prime Minister.
